Trail riding

Trail riding is suitable for complete beginners to more experienced riders. Our Finnhorses are calm and reliable individuals which is why we can promise safe, enjoyable and fun riding experience in all seasons! We travel along safe paths with our horses, through varying landscape; private forest roads, along forested hills and fields.

Both animal and people welfare are the most important thing to us. Therefore, we act responsibly and take sustainability seriously. As a matter of fact, Ruska Laukka is a member of the Finnish Equestrian Association (Suomen Ratsastajainliitto) and we have also been awarded with the Sustainable Travel Finland label by Business Finland as evidence by undergoing the entire program and fulfilling the criteria of responsibly produced travelling services.

Sleigh rides

Experience unforgettable trip in a horse-drown sleigh! Imagine a beautiful snowy forest, cold weather, frosty ground crunching under your feet and the Finnhorse walking steadily in front of you. Isn’t that a perfect activity on a winter day?

Sleigh rides are suitable for all ages and recommended especially for families and small groups. The trip can be done on several sleds and there is also a possibility to take a part in the trip by riding a horse. As an additional activity, you can come to visit Ronivaara’s farm and taste our delicious food.
