Fun with the ponies

Families are warmly welcome to visit our farm and see our horses and the traditional Finnish farm. Make your stay in Kuusamo even more memorable with a Finnhorse farm visit and a small horseback ride. Meet the traditional Finnhorses and Ronivaaras ponies and other farm animals.

The horsefarm visit is suitable even the smallest in the family. Feeding and getting to know our friendly horses, sheep and chicken in Ronivaara is something the youngest ones will remember. During the trip we can also groom of the ponies with the you. Cookies and warm drinks are included.

The duration of the guided program is about 1 hour, after the program you can spend the time you want eating snacks. The price is per child. The minimum number of people in the online booking is 2 children.

After the program, you will have the opportunity to enjoy your <strong>own or pre-booked snacks</strong> by the fire in our cozy courtyard. We deliver snacks in advance by reservation (+ 5 € / person).

In connection with the excursion, you can book tasty snacks to be enjoyed by the fire in a cozy village blacksmith's workshop or in the red cottage on your own. We deliver meal packages by pre-order (+ 8 €) per person. The package includes savory and sweet snacks, we prefer local ingredients.

The minimum number of people when booking online is 2 people. If you are coming alone, ask the appropriate group for you at info@ruskalaukka.fi.

Instructions

  •  Dressing. Clothes and shoes according to season and the weather, always long-legged trousers and long-sleeved shirt.
  • Supportive shoes such as hiking boots, rubber boots and gloves. No flapping clothes, scarfs or backpacks.
  • Equipment used in other stables has to be desinfected before entering the stable area.
  • Smoking is prohibited in the stable area.
